a gelatin crystal reaches towards the odd ends of space
where stars flash, where dreamers' dreams are reality
where the coldness of space is warm
and all existence is one

shimmering strands of eiderdown surround meek travelers
beckoning to the soft reprise
of earlier voyages with mad itineraries
of going and coming
where one is in the same accord of the other

a seperate peace reunites the fragile bonds of hope
once shattered by thoughts of autocrasy
cymbaline beaches rich with crabs
there stand ebony totems in ebony sand
recalling a time of simple loyalty
and reminiscent trust

wash the stains of despondance from your tablecloth
oh angel of love
a peace we trust for a new day's dawning
calls our names from a deep forest
where thirsted glory binds the limbs of few

where is this place of diligent face?
a time in the sty of folk and rhyme
which never departs the solemn hearts
they trust and must gather the fussed

simply, simply to realize their own fortune and misgiven words
to perch and fly, far from the determined wake of early birds

we stand here now, obedient and tendered
of our humble ideas of humble splendor
we simple travelers, now us surround
