In the midnight hour of a summer night
right next to me a hot one laying still
Religious conflicts in my head take flight
The roses here are like addictive pills
The touch so soft my passion is contained
afraid to let it out of my own thoughts
and laying here is where I shall remain
'til light shines through and proves this night a plot
And now forbidden whispers in my ear
a sweet caress of skin upon my thigh
But realizing God watches with care
and doing this rejection will reply
A conflict everyone must face someday
but true to self and beliefs I must play.
